Hiding a module
1. From the D2L Course Home page, click on [Content] on the main navigation bar.
2. Identify the Module you wish to edit. For Modules, you can already see the checkmark and “Published” below the module heading and description.

3. Click on the dropdown menu next to “Published” and select “Draft” to totally hide the module.

4. OR you can click on “Add restrictions…” and select an open and close date for the module.

Hiding a topic

The process for hiding a topic is similar to hiding a module.

1. Identify the topic you want to edit, click on the dropdown menu next to it and click “Edit Properties.”

2. Now you again have the option of either changing “Published” to “Draft” or adding dates for the topic to open and/or close.

Note: Draft modules/topics will remain hidden, regardless of availability date/time, until you “publish” them.
